Not working
The battery is not working. When I charge the battery it is fully charged in 10 to 15 min but when I on the laptop it is not turning on. Very disappointed. The delivery is also late.

Confused...!
Battery is displaying 100% while charging/plugged in, whereas it displays 96% when not charging..why it's like that?

Only the package wrapping was open and I was afraid after seeing it. But it turned out good. It's been 2 weeks and it works correctly with more than 2 hrs of battery life (Didn't calculate the exact battery life)

Original product from HP & complete fit for my laptop. Package came in very good packaging. Product is also good but HP should increase mah of the battery because now a days in mobile 6000 mah battery is coming but for laptop this batteries are quite not suitable for long term.
Costly but good battery backup.
After full recharge and power disconnected, used it for some time and at 85% remaining charge, showed 4:15 hours remaining time which is quite good and perfectly fits in the slot. But it's expensive, double the charge of non-branded battery, that is too much, overall recommended if good battery backup is needed.

Problem after one year
Working well for 1 year n now it's showing problem. Battery get charged to only 30% no matter how much time the laptop is kept on charging.

Product is genuine, comes with warranty, with continuous video playback the battery comes about 3 hrs.Otherwise it's about 3.5hrs of battery comes up. Works fine.

Battery life is definitely not as mentioned, I use it on low brightness and in power saver mode, still it hardly touches 3.5hrs mark. Also not sure if it's authentic, Delivery guys had delayed it for a week.

This is original hp battery only, but check the ratings of seller before you buy. some might sell fake ones. Good and perfectly compatible.
Warranty issues
Looks original and it gives around 3-4 hours of battery backup. Only drawback is warranty period starts from the date of manufacture and not from the date of purchase. I bought this on July-20 but in the hp website the warranty period had already been started from May-20. But that's okay to me!
Overall view
Great performance! Seems like a genuine HP product! Thankful to Laptopgallery they delivered this battery pretty quickly. I didn't really think of carrying out all the checks to test if it was a genuine HP product as I was in a hurry, however, thinking back it didn't come in the original HP box but a brown cardboard one with product details etc. pasted on top. That detail aside, it works extremely well with my laptop (no heating issues etc) and gives over 5 hours of back-up. Very happy with my purchase!
